Get Involved
We are currently accepting applications for advisory board members. We are looking to fill a board of approximately 6-12 members that are able to meet 1-2 times a month and possibly a bit more through phone conferences and/or online networking during these first few months of our startup.
We would like both farmers/ranchers as well as consumers to make up this board so we are able to gain the perspective of both sides of the market.
Please email us at info@communityhomestead.com and let us know why you are interested in serving.

Programs:
Homestead Subscription:
Pick and choose items that you want on a regular basis. Deliveries will be made on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis dependent on the items and quantities in your order.
Many discounts are available on given items when you commit to a Homestead Subscription.

Ala Carte Homestead:
For anyone who is interested in making purchases less often or on more of a seasonal basis. Great for those who are more interested in just meat products, grains, etc.
Homestead Community:
This program is perfect for those who are interested in reaping ALL of the bounties of having a homestead but don’t have the land or resources to do so. Although all “items” can be obtained through the Homestead Subscription or the Ala Carte Homestead, this program is unique in the fact that it encourages community among the family running the homestead and their “members”.
The goal is to have a single family homestead that produces a majority of all the products available through our site. Any items that they do not produce themselves will always be available through the other two programs. We encourage each homestead family to take on no more than 4-12 additional families that they are providing for in efforts to keep high quality standards without having to move to mass production technologies.
Each Homestead Community will have occasional gatherings, events, or programs that give the members an opportunity to be part of the homestead life. Some optional events and programs that we suggest to our homestead families include:

Because of the emphasis on community, there is an application and interview process that takes place to ensure a good match between the homestead family and its Community members. We also encourage those interested in becoming members to interview a few homestead families before making a decision to join one. Of course, this would be in addition to considering the homestead location, items available, and programs offered.
Community Homestead
The Community Homestead exists to bridge the gap between local farmers and ranchers and the consumers in their area. We offer a number of “programs” to serve urban and suburban families throughout the Front Range.
